Jemma Wilson is very passionate about riding motorcycles, especially about creating a women’s dirt biking community. The second year, 2024 was a bit tricker because I also added a competition class and as many opens as I could afford. However, now I want to keep being in the top 20 Australia for my age group this means I really have to up my training and would like to do private training with the best Coaches in Australia to keep advancing my skills. I'm excited to share that I now have my first ever children's book to help younger kids dream big too. I have a book launch sale and it is only $15 for a soft cover.  It is called Dream Big, Little Monkey. It is a children’s story about Mimi, a little monkey with a huge dream to soar high like the aerialists. Even though she’s teased by other animals, Mimi never lets her size or fears stop her.

With wobbly feet, a tangle-prone tail, and a heart full of determination, she practises every day. She makes mistakes, but she never gives up and keeps practising. Then one magical night, Mimi becomes the star of the show and proves that even the smallest dreamers can shine the brightest. 

This story reminds children that big dreams start with tiny steps and that courage, resilience, and self-belief can take you anywhere.

Once you get to competition level, training is more expensive than I expected. I have always tried to pay my way in the sport and I would like to continue this, even as the costs rise because I want to do more classes and start private lessons too.

Learning to raise money, to achieve my goals, is an incredible lesson and makes my sport feel even more amazing because I have also worked hard to pay for it. 

I have written a booklet to help other's realise they can achieve their dreams too like me. It is called Dream Big: A Teen’s Guide to Reaching Goals. It is a digital journal to help teens and tweens dream big, stay motivated, and never give up.
